1. Who We Are

Bharat Trade Sim is a stock-market simulation platform operated as an unincorporated project by two founders based in India: Aadhiyan Rajkamal and Chendhoorselvan KY (“Founders”). Bharat Trade Sim provides a virtual stock trading experience using real market data from the BSE, without the use of real money.

For the purposes of these Terms, Bharat Trade Sim is the service provider and controller of the service experience described below.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• Age Requirement. Bharat Trade Sim is available to individuals aged 13 or above.
• No Parental Consent Required. Users under 18 may register independently.
• Account Responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• Prohibited Accounts. Automated or non-human accounts (“bots”) are strictly prohibited.

3. Scope of Services

Bharat Trade Sim provides tools and simulations for users to experience stock-market behavior, including:

• Virtual Stock Trading: Simulated trading using real BSE market data.
• User Accounts & Profiles: Users can create accounts to track their trading activity.
• Virtual Currency: Users trade using simulated funds, not real money.
• Leaderboards: Rankings based on virtual trading performance.
• AI-Powered Features: Optional AI-based explanations, insights, or summaries.
• Activity Tracking: Storage of simulated trade history, performance metrics, and logs.

Bharat Trade Sim may enhance, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee any feature or functionality will be available indefinitely.

4. User Content & License

• User Content. Bharat Trade Sim does not require users to upload files or create personal content. User interactions are limited to simulation activities.
• Ownership. Any settings, configurations, or in-platform elements created by users (e.g., strategies, watchlists, if applicable in the future) remain owned by the user.
• License to Operate the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process and display simulation actions and account data solely to operate the service.

We do not use your data outside the platform without your consent.

5. Bharat Trade Sim Content & Intellectual Property

All Bharat Trade Sim content, including:

• branding, name, and logo
• platform interface and user experience
• simulation logic and datasets
• AI-powered explanations
• leaderboard mechanics
• all original code, design, and materials

(collectively, “Bharat Trade Sim Content”) is owned by Bharat Trade Sim and protected under applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not use, copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Bharat Trade Sim Content without our prior written permission.

6. Data Handling & Privacy

• Data We Process. We process account details (email, username, profile data), simulation activity (trade history, timestamps, performance), usage logs and analytics, and AI interaction data (if features are used).
• Hosting Provider. Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Firebase, which provides authentication, database, storage, and real-time services.
• Data Deletion. If you delete your account, all associated data — including trade history — is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
• Privacy Policy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy (provided separately) for full details on data collection, use, and user rights.

7. Acceptable Use, Conduct & Moderation

You must use Bharat Trade Sim in a lawful, respectful, and fair manner. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Exploiting bugs, loopholes, or vulnerabilities
• Manipulating simulations, leaderboards, or AI systems for unfair gain
• Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
• Sharing personal or sensitive information
• Attempting to reverse engineer or tamper with the platform
• Impersonation or misrepresentation
• Any illegal, harmful, or disruptive activity

We may remove abusive activity, reset manipulated progress, or permanently delete accounts at our discretion. Moderation decisions are final.

8. AI Features & Disclaimers

• AI Limitations. AI-generated insights, summaries, or explanations may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify information independently.
• No Professional Advice. AI outputs are for educational and simulation purposes only and are not financial advice.
• AI History. AI interactions may be stored to improve platform functionality but are not shared outside the platform.

9. Account Deletion & Termination

• User-Initiated Deletion. You may delete your account at any time. Deletion is permanent and removes all data associated with your account.
• Our Rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for misconduct, security concerns, or legal requirements.

Deletions resulting from violations are final.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

Bharat Trade Sim and all related materials, simulations, and services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee:

• real-world investment results
• financial gains
• the accuracy of market data or simulations
• uninterrupted or error-free service

All trading within the platform uses virtual, fake currency only.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bharat Trade Sim, the Founders, and any contributors shall not be liable for:

• indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages
• loss of data, reputation, profits, or revenues
• any reliance on simulation results, AI outputs, or market data

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through email or in-platform notices. Your continued use of Bharat Trade Sim after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

14. Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Bharat Trade Sim.
• Severability. If any provision is deemed invalid, the rest shall remain in effect.
• No Waiver. Failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
• Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
